Katrina is a partner in the firm’s corporate advisory team. She advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial work, including commercial contracting, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, competition and consumer law, advertising and marketing, retail leasing, supply chain contract management, and licensing.

Regarded as a leading consumer markets lawyer both in New Zealand and Australia, Katrina represents New Zealand and global consumer services, retailers, franchisors and luxury brands. Katrina’s sector experience includes retail, property and construction, health, travel, medical, transport and logistics, financial services and hospitality.

She provides advice to clients as to how to best comply with legislation and regulations including the Fair Trading Act and consumer law, Privacy Act, Advertising Standards Authority Codes and Medicines Act. She also works closely with new product development teams and creative agencies in reviewing advertisements and promotions and making or responding to Advertising Standards Authority and Commerce Commission complaints.
