Bringing together business owners and franchising professionals from across the country, our National Franchise Convention (NFC) is Franchise Council of Australia’s (FCA) annual signature event that informs and inspires delegates through an exceptional lineup of local and international speakers, networking opportunities and entertainment. You will hear from inspiring leaders from within the franchising community and other field professionals, take part in workshops, and enjoy networking opportunities with like-minded peers throughout the two-day conference. Convention dates and locations
The 2024 National Franchise Convention will be held over three days, 19th – 21st May 2024, at the Cairns Convention Centre, in Queensland, Australia. Located within walking distance of the city’s hotels and within 7 kilometres of Cairns International Airport, the Cairns Convention Centre is on the corner of Wharf & Sheridan Street, Cairns, Queensland, 4870.

Passport Competition
If you attended last year’s NFC, you would know all about the Passport Competition.
The Passport Competition is an interactive experience, that gives attendees the chance to win a prize! Simply go around scanning QR codes on exhibition booths, attendees etc. and obtain points that go to your score!
Look out for sneaky ways for yourself to gain points, so make sure your notifications are on and best of luck to you all!
If you won it last year, please be mindful that you cannot win this year’s and the prize will automatically go to second place.
Registration
To be eligible for the FCA membership registration rate, membership must be valid post Monday 21 May 2024. Should your membership expire prior to this date, you will be invoiced accordingly.
Payment
At the time of booking, you are required to pay with a valid credit card; AMEX, Mastercard or VISA.
Substitutions
Substitutions require written permission from the original attendee to transfer the booking including payment made, prior to transfer.
Attendees are not allowed to share a registration
Cancellation
- All cancellations and amendments must be made in writing to Master Eventist.
- Cancellations by telephone will not be accepted.
- Cancellations received two weeks or more prior to the event will receive a full refund (less an administration fee of $110 AUD).
- Cancellations received one week prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
- If a cancellation is received within 7 days of the event, no refund will be issued but ticket will be deemed transferable within the organisation.
